A morning sunrise seen while NOT driving to work.

Will you get a load of this kalanchoe daigremontiana? Hereafter referred to by it’s better known name “mother of millions” (or it might be thousands). Holy smokes. This thing grew from tiny to huge over the course of the summer. Why I did not take a photo right after I planted it, I know not. Next year I will correct that. Each of those little itty bitty things on the edges of the leaves would make a whole new plant. Fascinating stuff.

Leaves are turning, falling, crunching underfoot. It’s wonderful.

The mums are looking good.

I am reacquainting myself with the wetlands with more days off for early walking. I love seeing all the water for the migrating birds.

The freedoms to be found in this new state of not going to work, are most pleasant. Seriously. Hmmm what can I get up to today?
