I was smitten with all the squash and pumpkins Saturday at the market.
The blue/gray/green Jarrahdale pumpkins are a particular favorite.
I should have gotten some tomatoes, basil, and zucchini and brought them home, roasted the tomatoes, sliced the zucchini, grated some cheese, chiffonaded the herbs, and threw it all in a pan to serve for dinner tonight. A final hurrah to the produce of summer. Alas I did not.
I did however pick up a slice of the pumpkin spice latte cake.
This combination of zinnias, dahlias, millet, oak leaves, and various assorted greenery was amazingly beautiful.
The stems in the water, as photo worthy as the rest.
